Summer has a habit of getting on your nerves especially when the challenge involves turning up as your most gracious self in that early morning meeting, or stepping up your grooming to tame humidity, dust and heat, almost as a mundane ritual.

But since there are more important things to focus on than struggling with your bathroom mirror, we’ve compiled a list of smart grooming hacks for you to take on summers without working up a sweat.

Beat the frizz

If your hair has a mind of its own and tends to go unruly and frizzy, work a teeny amount of hair conditioner through your hair. That should do the job!

Dreadful hangovers no more

Pulled an all-nighter with your boys? Reach out for your fridge, grab that ice pack and cool your face with it for a few minutes. It acts as a great anti-inflammatory trick and curbs any hangover puffiness, with just one side-effect- no reasons to not go work the morning after.

Save your face

Summer is a great equalizer – it spares no one when it comes to facial grease and oil, whatever your skin type. Play smart and switch to a foaming face wash especially one with salicylic acid. It will keep those pores from clogging and prevent breakouts.

Unclog your ears

Indulging in the same old way to clean your ears? Ditch the ear buds and take up olive oil. Why? Because deep exploration with ear buds can damage your ear drums, whereas a few drops of olive oil will loosen wax which will then melt and come out on its own. Just like that!

Get that stink out of things

It’s not just your clothes than surrender to sweat and start stinking, your bags follow suit too. You just need to place a soap bar inside your bag and witness the magic.

Make your scent stay

Till they create fragrances that defy weather and linger without losing their scent for longer periods, think Vaseline. Dab a small amount of Vaseline on your skin before you apply any fragrance. Vaseline tends to make things stick onto it hence making your scent stay for long.

Tea bags to treat sunburns

Wish we could tell you to stay in while summers last.  Since that’s no good, here’s our pro-tip for those inevitable sunburns that mar your skin due to long sun exposure – tea bags. You heard it! Keep some tea bags in the fridge and apply them whenever you feel fried. They are loaded with tannic acid which helps your skin cool down.
